Aonori is basically tiny flakes of seaweed and it's used in Japanese cooking as a garnish, much in the same way you might use parsley. It's also one of my favorite flavorings both on food I cook at home and on snacks (think nori shio chips and aonori rice crackers). You can sprinkle it on plain rice, on sauteed veggies, If you're making yakisoba, okonomiyaki, or takoyaki, don't even think about eating them without aonori! (JK/not kidding). A little goes a long way so this bag will last a bit. I transfer the contents to an airtight container or jar and store mine in a cool dark place.
