Eiko Fuji's "Honkara" beautifully matches a silky-smooth springwater-like mouthfeel with rich and robust flavors of fruit and toasted rice, with a crisp, dry finish. The brewery is located in Yamagata prefecture, which is considered one of Japan's top rice growing regions.

"Honkara" is a conjunction of "Honjozo" (a brewing technique that results in bright flavors and aromas, with light body), and "Karakuchi" which means "dry".
