Sushi Taro! A staple in my home when I was growing up, this is the simplest way to turn your rice into sushi rice. Each pack includes two seasoning packets that are made up of sweet vinegar and pickled veggie pieces (lotus root, carrot, bamboo shoot, dried gourd, shiitake mushrooms). You just pour it over cooked rice and give it a quick mix and voilá, you have delicious seasoned rice. Serve it as a side dish or to top with julienned veggies, tamago egg, and/or sashimi, or to turn into onigiri or stuff into inari pockets. Yes, you absolutely can (and should) make this kind of sushi rice from scratch, but I don't always have the time and tbh, I love this stuff. #iykyk
Directions: Cook 1 1/2 cups of rice. After it's done, put the rice in a mixing bowl, add the contents of one packet and gently mix. Add more rice if it's too strong. Enjoy!
6.98 oz (each bag contains 2 packets of seasoning)
Pescatarian. Contains bonito (fish), soy and wheat (soy sauce).
