Ochazuke is like a digestif after your meal. You basically take the last of the rice in the rice cooker and pour tea over it and eat it with pickles. But what I love about the instant version is the taste of the tea is just right and it has the arare rice crackers, and nori And it's dumb easy. Put about 1/2 cup - 2/3 cup rice in a rice bowl. Top with the ochazuke nori. Pour hot water until it just covers the rice. Eat with pickles.
Salmon or Ume (salt pickled plum)
PS. In Japanese, salmon is 'sake'. Same pronunciation as the alcohol but different kanji spelling.
1.16 oz (contains 6 single-serving pouches)
Both are gluten-free and soy-free. Salmon contains fish. Ume is vegan but contains stonefruit.
